"It's probably safe for us then. As I said, I don't get much of a chance lately. And it's illegal for me in all ports I've currently frequented." She eyes the large wereshark. "So... want to ditch this and do something more interesting?"

[Krajk]

Krajk will arch one eyebrow slightly and comment, "I supposed leaping to assumptions is not quite so dangerous when one is on land or can safely swim when far away from shore. Be that as it may, I have no way of knowing when my client will arrive and anything that could feasibly be done in that uncertain amount of time hardly seems worth the effort. Perhaps on some other occasion, if we both have not been called away elsewhere and potentially are both interested at that future point in time."

[Joshua]

Rachel will frown. "Later then." She will look around. "Maybe the raven first... Probably a bad idea for other reasons... No..." She will eye Darnell. "No, not a good elf." Then find Ossian. "Hmmm... Were or just fae?" She will ask idly... "You're probably new here too, huh?"

[Krajk]

Krajk will briefly consider Ossian before responding. "Fae, I think. And aye, escorting a visitor to the festival from a ways off, wanted a guide and guard in one and made a reasonable offer for my services."

[Joshua]

She will nod. "Difficult work that. What do you know of the dangers of this place? I mean... have you tested their steel yet?"

[The Raven]

"So, I'm a bad idea now?" The Raven interjects. "As for testing the steel of this place, I've heard that some of the nobles are offering training sessions for the local guards..."

[Joshua]

Rachael raises an eyebrow at the Raven. "I'd eat you alive?" She offers. "Corax aren't really predators."

[The Raven]

The Raven ponders for a second. "Yes, that would be a bad idea..."

"Though that brings up a second point. I don't know many mariners that know the scientific names of avians."

[Joshua]

"Hey!" She frowns, glaring at the Raven. "I don't know what racial slur 'scientific' is but my kind do know the names of other weres. It's only polite." Her hand twitches at her rapier.

[The Raven]

"Hm.... Courtesy. I suppose that makes more sense." The Raven says with mild dejection. "'Scientific' is a term used by scholars in their writings. Unfortunately I've had to read a lot of books lately due to my condition."
