07.05h: At the Docks

Having decided that 1) He has no idea what's going on, other than there having been an attack and 2) he's not really in the mood for another adventure at the moment, Solten gladly grabs nathaniel and heads... away from the group. After a few steps, he halts again and asks Nathaniel a bit sheepishly, "So, um, how do I get to Rebma?" Nathaniel will lead him to the air-breather entrance and down into the city.

(OOC: Josh feel free to fill in the trip down. I don't want to try and take over an NPC at this point, especially when it's one closely linked to other player(s). Other than inane conversation, the only things worth more posts would be if he wants to fill in some details to why he was just attacked and a conversation comes of it. Or, of course, it something happens on the way.)

Asai launches off the rigging of the ship into the water in a flat arc trajectory somehow evocative of a crossbow bolt in flight. The second splash, as she hits the water, is noticeably deeper for all that she only weighs around a half to a third of what the assailant does due to its sheer (comparative) speed. The sound of a strangled yelp quickly follows, then silence.

A human body of a very large peasant floats to the surface. Face down and lightly twitching. Apparently whatever stun spell Asai used left him unable to right himself. I assume someone fishes him out of the water before he drowns. (He's easily 250 lbs. though, so it's not that easy.)

Attire is simple. Tunic, pants, basic shoes, unadorned with much metal or jewelry. He does have a blue ribbon tied around his left wrist as some kind of marker or memento. Oh and a knife.

Once it's clear that there's no further combat, Alys will cheerfully leave any fishing out to be done to someone else. Well, unless Asai feels like tying a rope to him or something; as long as it doesn't involve her getting wet, she'll be willing enough to help.

Nate will escort Solten to the drowned city, bowing out respectfully.

The thug can be interrogated on the boat, in the street, or dragged somewhere. I'll be glazing over it slightly once you figure out where.

Asai waves for Alys to throw down a rope from where she's treading water, holding the human's head in the air so her captive doesn't drown and ruin the whole point of her diving into the water right after she'd dried her fur out again. Once a rope is thrown, she will quickly improvise something rather like a climbing harness around the human, and then scamper quickly up the rope. She winks at Alys before bounding a short ways down the ship to shake herself dry (again).

OOC: We'd determined the boat is empty, right? Is there any particular reason to drag the guy elsewhere for interrogation?

OOC: Alys is perfectly capable of supplying blunt trauma, fire, and a wide variety of sharp & pointy things, just with what's on her person. However, given that we have someone present with high psyche, I'm hoping it won't come to that. Besides, unlike with Jericho, it's possible that this individual is misguided, mind controlled, under duress, or otherwise not really deserving of such extreme measures.
