You should be coming in sight of the paladins any moment now, Luma comments to Stewart.

And, hey, Gregor's here now! Sounds like he's in favor of clearing out the temple, too. I think the odds of a diplomatic solution just improved...

"We really need to deal with the temple....." Gregor stops speaking as the party comes into sight, smiles when he sees Stewart and nods politely at Luma. "I think things might be getting easier." After saying that, Gregor walks to meet the party halfway. "Hello Stewart good to see you again. Why are you here and who are your friends?"

Sorgath - the paladin Gregor had been talking to - splutters slightly. "What? Hey, you can't just..!" He follows Gregor, taking his scythe off his back and holding it at the ready.

"Surrender, and we will allow you to live." The other paladins are moving up behind him, though not all of them seem exactly eager to jump immediately into combat...

Gregor makes certain to stand between Stewart and Sorgath. *draws his falchion* "I have fought the enemies of the gods and the world beside Stewart and I do not believe him knowingly capable of what you say. We WILL hear his explanation of events before we resolve this."

*Gregor looks to the paladins of Marris*

Stewart's eyes widen in something akin, but not exactly, surprise. "Good day, Gregor. A pleasant surprise to find a friendly acquaintance in such unfriendly climes." He takes the other, less friendly, paladins in with a glace. "Perhaps you could aid me in my quest. Perhaps unsurprisingly, research brings me here. But I also respond the call to rid unfriendly influences from what I understand was once a good god's temple."

"Help you?" Sorgath asks. "We're here to stop your quest, not to aid you in bringing about such devastation."

"What is your goal here Stewart? I can agree to nothing until I know why you are here and who you and Luma took on as companions"

Thirwin would normally wait, but he gets the impression he was being addressed. He bows, "I am Thirwin, Seeker of Light and Darkness. It is on the Sun Lion's bidding that I am here." He pauses, "Although, I would offer to trade information. If our quest will lead to disaster, I would prefer to understand how. Perhaps the temple could be cleansed and destruction avoided."

"Lets start here. What is your quest? And are all of you here for the same reason?"
