You are able to spot Mirri; it looks like she's already on her way back towards the fort by air. Which, given the devastation your mission has wreaked upon the enemy air force, seems as safe a mode of travel as any. She doesn't seem to notice your light. On the other hand, it's hard not to notice a yellow dragon flying next to you. "Yes, it is. Good job back there, Ametrine." |

Willoughby waits until Ametrine has returned to the tunnels. He watches Mirri fly off towards the fort. And then he waits a little bit longer, tips his hat in the direction of the serpents, and vanishes. Rejoining everyone else, he leads the group back to the cellar, helping Maya move the serpent-- and ensuring that it stays unconscious. |

Fang: "Can we do that again?" Fierce: "No Fang, especially as we've yet to deduce what exactly that poison is doing to our systems." Maya: "So are we going to kill it, or risk talking to it? If doing so, do we have a way to prevent it from teleporting or the like if it has some sort of escape mechanism?" Fang: "Well if the poison doesn't do anything..." (edited for better humor) |

It's at about this point that the secondary effects of the poison become apparent: Fierce simply collapses. Paralysis. I could get rid of this if I could move, Fierce comments. |

Ametrine waves Mr. Willoughby ahead; he and Mirri will fly back to the fort. This way, he has plenty of time to ask questions. Important questions, like "What are you riding?" and "Did you bring snacks for the flight back?" and "What kind of work do you do?" |
