Harrune arrived in Amber alone. After walking the Pattern, he went back home. While away he married into a family and brought a group of them back to Amber with him. It will take me time to get it all up, so I will be editing this post from time to time to flesh things out more. For most I will just give a short blurb. The characters who are more significant I will break out in more detail in separate replies.

Cosahr Valara Tyrnath Powyn - Cosahr is the head of the family's trading concerns. His administrative skills serve him well as the head of the household as well.

Lorera Nyara Tyrnath Denn - Lorera is Cosahr's wife. She is mother of Cheknou, Fillane and Alaror. Lorera works closely with Cosahr in the family business ventures. While he is the better administrator, she is by far the better negotiator.

Miliar Rahera Tyrnath Powyn - Miliar is Cosahr's mate. She is mother of Tharon, Lahrang and Fiarel. Miliar is a skilled at making tapestries. Several examples of her work hang in Castles of Amber and Tir'na Ng'oth.

Fillane Lorera Tyrnath Powyn

Fillane is Harrune's wife. She is daughter of Cosahr and Lorera. Cheknou is her older brother and Alaror is her younger brother. Her littermate is Lahrang.

Fillane is an expert gardener, specially in herbs. Her herb garden is one of the largest and most varied in Amber. She supplies cooking herbs to many of the cities best cooks, and healing herbs to assorted healers throughout the city. She has yet to be able to make any of the herbs from her home grow in Amber, but she does have herbs from several different shadows. She has asked Harrune to keep an eye out for new additions while he is out traveling.

Alaror Lorera Tyrnath Powyn

Alaror is the youngest son of Cosahr and Lorera. His older siblings are Cheknou and Fillane. His littermate is Fiarel.

Despite his youth (20 years), Alaror is a naturally gifted swordsman. He has been working as a bodyguard for various VIPs in Amber.

While on duty he is very professional. Off duty he's a completely different person: a good natured, playful ball of energy.

Cheknou Lorera Tyrnath Powyn

Cheknou is the oldest son of Cosahr and Lorera. He is the brother of Fillane and Alaror and littermate of Tharon.

Back when the family lived on the World Tree, Cheknou worked as a guard for the family's shipments. When they reached Amber he felt a desire to settle down. He has left the family business and now works in on the Tir'na Ng'oth guard units where he is a low-ranking officer. Outsiders sometimes speculate that he got his rank because Harrune pulled strings (false). No one inside the unit puts any stock in that as he has proven himself very competent in the position. His normal Cani friendliness has made him very popular.

Tharon Miliar Tyrnath Powyn

Tharon is the oldest son of Cosahr and Miliar. He is littermate of Cheknou and brother of Lahrang and Fiarel.

Of all of the family unit, Tharon has had the hardest time adapting to life in Amber. Back on the World Tree he was a gifted healer for his age. The loss of his magic in Amber meant the loss of most of his ability to heal. It was a terrible emotional blow to him. He has become driven, at times almost to the point of obsession, to learn Sorcery so that he can heal again. There are rumors about the city the Harrune had to perform several services for the Guild before Mastr Wyllt would accept Tharon for training. Of course none of the people actually in the know have volunteered any information on the subject.

In the absence of magical healing, Tharon has also been polishing his skills with mundane means of healing. When not studying he can usually be found at a small clinic that he and several other healers have in a poor part of town.

By Cani standards Tharon is bordering on being anti-social (although others would just see him as a "bit distant") and neglecting his family. They are aware of his feelings and do not take offense. They offer what support they can in the belief that he will settle down in time.
