07.08g Gated Landscapes
Aibne ducked into a small alcove, hidden from sight unless you were right in front of it. It's a small place, perhaps seven or eight feet wide, and only a few feet deep, but it'll hold everyone somewhat uncomfortably. he shakes his head and breaths out, his left arm shaking slightly, before holding his arms out for the dragon and the selkie. "I... hope this isn't too different..." he says, obviously nervous.

Alys gives the bear what's probably intended as an encouraging smile, commenting only, "Whenever you're ready..."

Priscilla will take hold of the card. She will then put her other hand on Aibne's shoulder. "You can do this. We'll get through it together."

Aibne nodded, closing his eyes. He reached for the card, using his mind, and winced slightly as he started falling, falling, falling-
And then landed on his back, rather hard, in the midst of a ring of mushrooms. He opened his eyes, the rest of him falling afterwards, and he sat up, wincing a little. He glanced around and relaxed slightly - he had landed on a large hill at dawn, the dew still on the thick, verdant grass. He stood up, glancing around, blinking slightly. "This was more forested the last time I was here," he says, frowning a little. Not far, less than a mile out, thin streams of smoke can be seen against the dawning sky, a large wooden gate standing around a sizable village. Aibne freezes a little, looking away, glancing for Priscila. "C-c'mon..." he says slowly, turning away from the village. "We should probably get to the beach... Tell me about your man, and we'll see if we can't find his home. Your home."

Tinder gives an annoyed "Wrf!" at trumping in upside-down, but flips neatly around in midair and lands on his feet.
Alys, at first glance, might appear to have been significantly less nimble - until one realizes the degree of skill (and speed) required for her to have landed under Priscilla, in such a way as to ensure that the selkie wasn't hurt.
While she waits for Priscilla to get up, Alys pulls a pair of obsidian-lensed goggles out of a pocket and puts them on - thus making two people in the group that can pass for human.

Priscilla slowly gets to her feet. She does at least offer to help Alys up, more out of politeness than any belief she needs help.
"Uh... He was a fairly cruel man." She will explain, describing him a little. Large, muscled, mustache, balding. She can describe a bit about him, before moving onto her children. They were only one and four when she left, so that she can't give that much of an account, but can describe the hints of her connection to them... That was partly lost when she regained her skin.

The bear nods a little and closes his eyes. "Do you know what his name was? Or can you describe the house where you lived?" he asks, reaching out to take her hand. He smiles softly, tilting his head gently.

Alys accepts the offer of assistance - she doesn't need it, but it's polite. Other than that, she stays out of the current conversation - just following Aibne and looking around warily for anything threatening.

Priscilla nods. "Lleufer of clan Gittins, who lives in the port town of Fishguard." She will then describe a fairly humble seaside cottage with a barn in the back.

Aibne nods, smiling a little. He closes his eyes, starting to hum to himself. "Excellent, thank you. Priscilla, Alys, walk with me?" he asks, starting to stroll quickly. As he does, he sings to himself, a spontaneous ballad of the sleepy fishing village of Fishguard, and as he strolls, the grass changes slightly. It's faint, the tint shifting slightly, the way light reflects changing as the air itself changes. He keeps singing, soon stepping onto a stamped dirt road, heading down to a small village by the shore. He tilts his head and glances around, still murmuring softly, before continuing down, heading through the village to the shore itself.
